Embark on an extraordinary adventure with Freedom Summit III, inspired by the resilience of the groundbreaking mental health mountaineering expedition “Freedom Summit” in October 2021. Faced with unprecedented challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions, the summit persevered, breaking into smaller groups over five weekends to conquer the secret “Freedom Summit trail” of Bali's Mount Abang.
The Freedom Summit III will feature a unique climb of Mount Agung from the Besakih Temple down to the Desa Ban region of Karangasem, followed by the “Freedom Summit Trail” , developed by Right Reasons Funding in the impoverished Desa Ban region in Karangasem in the midst of the pandemic. The trail creation took over 500 man-hours and offers breathtaking views. The finale of Freedom Summit III will be the entire community, all three divisions tackling Mount Batur for representation of the final push for accessibility for ALL to professional mental health assistance.
The Freedom Summit secured the facility, the Freedom Summit II (with the support of Actual Rehab Australia) opened the operations of professional mental health assistance and with the Freedom Summit III we aim to raise the URGENT funds of keeping the doors open for the thousands in need!

Each participant registering for Freedom Summit III will receive a crowdfunding campaign, such as "John’s Freedom Summit" or "Wayan’s Freedom Summit."
Depending on division selection, participants must raise a minimum amount of funds to cover their participation costs and contribute to the cause. To maximize impact, participants are encouraged to surpass the minimum fundraising target.

About Mountain Heroes Division:
WARNING:
This is a serious climb that requires 15+ hours of hiking with minimal to no sleep. It features climbing terrain, steep descent and some bouldering. This should only be considered by those in superb physical condition with mountaineering experience and/or extreme endurance activity experience

To participate in the Mountaineer Heroes category you need to have mountaineering experience, be in peak physical condition and/or have participated in ultra marathons, marathons, Iron Man or similar experiences. This division is HARD and has high risks associated with it.
